The Z-B community has more local services available
and others on the horizon. But how would a resident know
where to begin in the process, enhancing his/her life?
This is not about helping any single identified group, but about
creating a system that will benefit all residents. Through a
grant provided by The Lake County Community Foundation,
Community Collaboration Incorporated (CCI) PEC Partners
are able to provide twenty-five agencies that serve the
Zion-Benton community with comprehensive case
management tools for collaboration and specialized
The MPOWR system offers a unique, computer-based,
14-domain case management program. This innovative case
management database helps create individualized goals and
plans for residents allowing for the integration of service
delivery with other agencies, to avoid duplication and prevent
gaps in services. With CREW coordinating this project, the
goal is to create both a physical and virtual Internet based
one-stop location for resources within Pearce Campus.
