PEC (Partners for Effective Collaborations) and RESPOND (Respecting Every Single Person through Outreach, Networking and Diversity) combined to form RESPOND Lake County in January, 2011. The coalition is comprised of two branches (Zion-Benton and North Chicago/Waukegan). Front-line social service providers from over twenty-five agencies in Lake County meet monthly at alternating locations in Zion and Waukegan to network, build relationships and strategize ways to collaboratively provide comprehensive services to residents. Member benefits include removing duplication of services, determining gaps that need to be addressed and saving time and money by helping organizations to be more efficient.
RESPOND meets the second
Wednesday of each month from
11:30 a.m. until
1:30 p.m. There is a yearly membership fee of
$100.00 per branch to cover the cost of lunch and meeting materials.
